General FAQs
All canvases are unstitched and in good resale condition. Some are brand new; others may have been stored for a while but are still unused and clean. We inspect every canvas individually and note any visible imperfections in the product description.
Due to the nature of consignment and secondhand goods, all purchases are final sale. However, if something arrives damaged or doesn’t match the listing, please email us at hello@avecpaulette.com within 7 days of delivery and we’ll do our best to make it right.
Not yet! We currently only ship within the U.S.
Orders are packed and shipped within 1–2 business days. Once your order is on the way, we’ll email tracking details to the address you used at checkout.

Consignment FAQs
We accept unstitched, clean, like-new needlepoint canvases. We don’t accept partially stitched pieces, vintage to the point of design fading or discolored items, or accessories sold on their own. We do not take cross stitch kits (such as Shepherd’s Bush), embroidery kits, yarn-only lots, or finished/partially stitched pieces.
We generally only accept designs on 10 to 18 mesh canvases. If you have a canvas larger than 10 mesh or smaller than 18 mesh please email us at hello@avecpaulette.com prior to submitting it for consignment.
No, we do not. We cannot guarantee the integrity of threads included in kitted canvases. Feel free to add those threads to your stash and send the canvas along to us to consign.
Canvases starting the standard 3 month consignment period start at 30% off market price and are reduced to 40% off in Month 2 and 50% off in Month 3. We use comparable market pricing and review each canvas individually to insure the integrity has been maintained.
If the same canvas is already listed or has been in the past, your item will be price-matched and added to the queue to go live once the existing one sells (FIFO model). You’ll get a preview before anything is published.

We use a PO Box to keep all shipments secure and consistent. It reduces the risk of package theft (no porch pirates!) and keeps consignment deliveries separate from personal mail so everything is logged and processed safely.
- Return to You: Your canvas will be shipped back at your expense.
- Donate: Instead of returning your canvas, you may choose to have Avec Paulette donate it on your behalf to a partner organization. No payout is issued, but your canvas continues to inspire stitchers and support community initiatives.
- Opt-IN to Stash Flash & The Last Stitch Sales:
Stash Flash Sales (Days 90–120)-> Canvases appear in up to four weekly flash events, which run from Wednesday at 10:00 AM EST through Sunday at 11:59 PM EST. During this period, canvases are listed at 50% off retail, and you earn 45% of the final sale price.
The Last Stitch (Days 120–150)-> If your canvas does not sell during Stash Flashes you may continue into The Last Stitch Sale Collection. This is a final clearance opportunity where canvases are listed at 75% off retail, and you earn 40% of the final sale price. If they still don't sell, we'll donate them and no payout will be issued.
Payouts are based on the final sale price of your canvas (after any scheduled markdowns or flash sales). Sales tax, shipping, and payment processing fees are not included when calculating consignor percentages.
Your payout by phase (of sale price): Month 1 (Days 1–30): 60% | Month 2 (Days 31–60): 55% | Month 3 (Days 61–90): 50%
A W-9 is only required if your total payouts reach $600 or more within a calendar year, since we must issue a 1099-NEC for tax purposes. If you cross that threshold, we’ll reach out to collect your W-9 before sending further payouts.
Within 24 business hours of purchase you’ll receive a confirmation email with your USPS label.
Yes! Using our prepaid label is optional. If you prefer to create your own label, you’re welcome to do so—just make sure to send your package to:

Please choose the size that best fits your package before checkout. USPS may adjust postage if the label purchased doesn’t match the actual parcel. Customers are responsible for any USPS adjustments.
Prepaid labels are generally non-refundable once purchased. If you don’t plan to use a label, we recommend holding it until your next consignment submission.
You may use any sturdy envelope, mailer, or box that matches the label size you purchased. Please avoid USPS Flat Rate packaging, as our labels are not Flat Rate and USPS may reject or surcharge them.
No. Price reductions follow a set schedule within the 3-month payout cycle. Your Pricing & Payout Report lists both the expected listing date and the reduction schedule, which serves as the official notification. If you’ve opted into Stash Flash or Last Stitch, those events are also included in your report.

We currently ship via USPS Ground Advantage. We use flat-rate shipping based on package size and service speed. All orders are carefully packed in rigid mailers to protect your canvases in transit.
All sales are final. We’re unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. That said, if something arrives damaged or isn’t as described, reach out to us at hello@avecpaulette.com within 7 days of delivery and we’ll do our best to help.

PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share your info when you visit our site or make a purchase.
We collect your name, email, shipping and billing address, and communication preferences so we can fulfill orders and keep you updated. Payment information is securely processed through Shopify Payments and is not stored by us. We also collect non-personal data—such as your device type, browser, and IP address—through cookies and analytics tools to help us improve the site and your experience. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
We only share your information as needed to operate our business: with Shopify to power our store, with trusted partners like payment processors and shipping carriers, or as required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
By subscribing, you consent to receive marketing emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email or contacting us directly.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
By accessing this site, you confirm you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent. You agree to use the site lawfully and for its intended purpose.
All prices are listed in USD. We may cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including due to availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. Payments are processed securely via Shopify. We do not store your full payment information.
Orders ship within 3-4 business days via USPS. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or for packages marked delivered but not received. All sales are final. If an item arrives damaged or misrepresented, contact us within 7 days at hello@avecpaulette.com.
Consigned items must be unstitched, clean, and in good resale condition. Duplicate designs are listed only after the original sells, using a first-in, first-out (FIFO) model and price-matched for fairness. Listings remain active for 90 days with scheduled price reductions, including up to four Stash Flash sale inclusions (Wednesday 10:00 AM – Sunday 11:59 PM) and a final Last Stitch sale period of 30 days. At the end of the consignment period, you may request items be returned at your expense or donated. Payouts are issued monthly based on sales and the terms outlined on our Consignment page. If your total payouts reach $600 or more in a calendar year, U.S. tax law requires submission of a completed IRS Form W-9 before additional payouts can be issued.
